Planning to level your uneven concrete
Generally, the first step to take when having this project in mind is to make a detailed plan. In this case, you have to decide if to use subfloor or concrete itself as a floor for a different fabric on top. The degree of perfectly levelling your uneven concrete tends to depend on right which specific flooring material someone has chosen.

So start by getting rid of everything and anything from your project area, including baseboards, furniture, debris etc. Further, vacuum the entire area to eventually remove any stack dirt or dust. You will still need to clean your concrete floor, ensuring a tight bond right between the porous concrete surface and any levelling agent.

While dish or other related cleaners are said to remove most grime and dirt, more vigorous processes like shot blasting might be needed to fully eradicate years' worth of the caked-on grease and other stubborn stains. And before you start the concrete levelling process, ensure you have a mask, safety glasses and gloves.
  • Fill the large holes and cracks using a concrete sealer or concrete filler
  • First, stick the concrete filler bottle nozzle to a hole or crack, then squeeze your filler out till the hole is completely sealed. Now allow sealer and filler to dry to move to prep work.
  • Use your chalk and mark low and high spots on your floor
  • In this step, ensure you mark all concrete pumps which are probably raised above your floor with the letter X, while lower dips with the letter O'. Now, sweep over your floor using the carpenter's level to typically reveal depressions left.
  • Grind down the high sports using a concrete grinder
  • Lay your disc flat over the spot you need to grind down. Start moving front to back, side to side motion till you perfectly grind bump down to best floor level. Ensure to grind down any sports marked X and vacuum up all dust using shop-vac.
  • Using a soft-bristle best push broom, apply the concrete leveller primer
  • It's time to spread it on your surface on the floor and also remember to apply downward pressure, so you work it even to deep concrete poles. Further, smooth out the primer puddles and end up with an even coat. Let your concrete leveller primer dry until you start seeing a tacky finish. Drying may take 3 to 24 hours.
  • Mix concrete leveller compound with mixing paddle and drill in a bucket
  • After the mixture is ready, dump it to your floor, then spread it using your long-handled squeegee. To this by pulling and pushing the concrete leveller right over your floor using a squeegee to eventually coat it, making it even. Get your way along the edges and corners of the room too.
  • At this point, allow the concrete leveller to dry enough for around 4 to 24 hours. Also, someone can now install other related flooring types of the concrete top after waiting for around 16 or less hours. Overall, the drying time may depend on your area's humidity and temperature.

Final word
Whether your primary agenda is replacing your floor, refinishing the old floor, or adding a new flooring right on the existing one, someone should level his or her old concretes surface as the first procedure.
